This month Cody Johnson and Jett Scholz from Illtech Auto Salon will be on-hand conducting a Forced Induction Tech Session and an ECU Reflash Tutorial. They will be bringing with them a 2011 V6 Camaro featuring a STS Turbo putting out 500hp, and an ESS Tuning Supercharged 2008 BMW M3 putting out 625hp.

I-Heart Models has teamed up withIllTech Auto Salon at their brand new facility in Bellevue, Washington to make the first Dyno day & car wash fundraiser all possible! Come get your car washed by your favorite IHM ladies or come out just to support for some fun in the sun! With car shows dwindling down to only a few a year, Illtech and IHM has decided to flare things up and create our own events! Also, IHM is trying to raise money to send their girls to more shows as well as make more giveaways/t-shirts/merchandise for our fans & supporters! They want to continue to come out & meet their fans at every event… to maintain that schedule we need your support!!
The event was HUGE! Over 300 people came out to show, dyno-pull, and show love through purchasing product and donating to the car wash. With Ferrari’s, Vipers, GTR’s, NSX’s, M cars, Porsche’s…and even Bellevue’s finest (police) present, we have to say, it was a lot of fun! The day got a little wild when a transformer, across the street blew and killed power for a few hours….. The music and dyno stopped, but the cars and people didn’t! We just want to share some candid video and pics on this album. With over 8 photographers at this event, we only have room for a few? lol. Thanks again to IHM, Clients, and staff of Illtech Autosalon for such a great day and venue.

It looks like Takata corporation may be tied up in some illegal business. Takata is best know in the racing community for their bright Green Racing Harness, Takata Corporation mainly does big business with Large OE mfgs like Honda, General Motors, Chrysler, and Ford, etc. Takata developes seat belts as well as airbags. The issue is stemming from Takata’s dealings with another company, Tokai Rika(a Toyota OE supplier) and their involvement regarding the monopolizing allegations of illegally trying to prevent competition. Many items were seized during the FBI raid, even cellphones from their sales reps. While there is no clear statement from the FBI, a spokesperson from the U.S Department of Justice said that there is and will be an ongoing investigation with automotive electronic parts suppliers for violating anti-trust laws.
