Enkei RP03 Wheel 17x7.0 4x100

In 1986 Enkei became actively involved in motorsports by supplying 3-piece wheels to the F1 team, Minardi. In 1995 Enkei became an official supplier for team McLaren, which took championships home in 1998 and 1999. This team won four consectutive championships from 1996 to 1999. Enkei also supplies wheels to teams that race in the Japan GT Championship (JGTC), Super Taikyu, Formula Drift, Time Attack/Super Lap Battle, World Rally, SCCA, and D1 Drift.

All Enkei wheels are Spec-E. Enkei established its original test standard called Spec-E which is more rigorous test standards exceeding JWL requirements. Spec-E wheels represent Enkeis commitment to higher quality and saftey, enthusiasm for racing, and passion for innovative design and performance.

Enkeis MAT processes make wheels strong and anti-flex. All MAT wheels are extremely stong and lightweight, which allows the car to accelerate faster and have more efficient braking, which in turn allows you to drive smoother and faster.

Enkei RP03 Wheel Features:

MAT PROCESS: Shaping by the MAT process reduces wheel weight by 10%-15%. Every pound of unsprung weight savings has the effect of reducing overall vehicle weight by 20lbs.

UNDER-CUT: The RP03s spokes reach the edge of the rim, making the spokes long and aggressive. This feature gives the wheel and appearance of being one size larger.

SPOKE DESIGN: The aggressive 5-spoke power rib design reinforces rigidity needed for cornering and steering while eliminating extra weight from excess aluminum. The spokes curve toward the center of the wheel, adding a 3-D look to large engine race cars.

SBC (Special Brilliant Coating): Breakthrough technology has enabled Enkei to achieve a crome-looking finish using synthetic coating and cosmetic techniques. SBC delivers a brilliant metal finish without the high maintenance associated with chrome and is used by Enkei for the Racing Series line to maintain llightweight characteristics and enhance the finish of the wheels.
